This story begins with incredible women who taught me that style isn't just what you wear - it's how you move through the world.

My mother was pure fire. Platinum blonde hair, piercing green eyes, and when she entered a room, people felt her presence before they even saw her. She'd return from Italy with decorative treasures, from France with more than just fashion (she got her car there!), from India with a sitar and brass pieces that caught light like captured sunshine.

But it was her SHOES that stole my heart. I'd spend hours  organizing them, trying them on with little feet that never quite fit, dreaming of the day I'd walk with that same confidence.

My grandmothers? Pure elegance. Coquettes in the most beautiful way - strong, resilient women who were humble and unforgettable, who paved the way with grace and showed me that true style transcends trends.

These women didn't just influence my taste - they shaped my soul.

From Bucharest Dreams to Montreal Magic

At 10, I traded Bucharest's memories for Montreal's embrace, and this city became my style education. Here, cultures celebrate boldly - Italian festivals, fashion weeks, music that fills the streets. Here, I learned that mixing the unexpected creates magic. That a vintage Hermès scarf with a thrift store blazer tells a better story than any single designer piece ever could.  Montreal taught me that beauty lives in layers, in contrasts, in the courage to be authentically yourself.

The Real Story - Single Mom, Big Dreams

Here's where it gets real: raising three incredible daughters as a single mom, I fell hard for Chanel pearls and Italian leather, for Dior's femininity and Gucci's genius reinventions. But luxury? Not always in the budget.

So I became a treasure hunter. Hotel management, marketing, boutiques, international organizations - each career taught me something about quality, about what makes people feel special. I learned to see potential in forgotten corners, to mix eras and styles until something extraordinary emerged.

I sewed every Halloween costume, every dance recital outfit. I collected over 100 pairs of shoes (from Louboutin stilettos to flip-flops - don't judge!). I painted, beaded, upcycled, and proved that creativity trumps budget every single time.
